DESCRIPTION:Las Vegas: Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 5:30pm – 8:30pm College of Southern Nevada (CSN) West Charleston Campus, 6375 W. Charleston Blvd., D-101 \nCommission for Persons who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and the Communication Access Services (CAS) program formally invites you all to the 2024 October Townhall Tour. This is a series of town hall meetings happening across the state of Nevada. Each town hall will provide an opportunity for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to share input on proposed laws and ideas for the upcoming 83rd legislative session for 2025.\nAt the town halls, community members will learn about proposed legislative initiatives and share feedback to help shape future laws. This input will also support the Commission’s advocacy efforts, contribute to the Annual Report,\n and help prepare for the Engagement Conference in December 2024.  \nAll meetings will be held in person.
